Restorative Youth Mentorship The goal of the Langley-based mentorship program is to increase youth resiliency and success through the provision of supportive relationships and positive role models. It targets youth who require empowerment, increased self-esteem and/or assistance with education, vocational, employment goals and/or parenting. Peer mentorship may assist youth at risk of delinquency and/or with substance abuse issues. Through consultations with the youth themselves, and by connecting with adult community members who can provide support, volunteer opportunities, or role modeling, the program's goal is to develop means for positive linkages between community members and youth. Restorative Youth Mentorship is funded by the Ministry for Children and Families in partnership with Family and Youth Services Society (Langley).
